The Frank Eber workshop (October 1-5, 2018) was a great experience. Frank is a personable, fun guy who made learning welcoming and easy. His emphasis on the atmospheric mood was very well presented. He used wet-in-wet techniques for every area as he completed a painting. This was a real learning curve for many of us!
Our plein air hopes were dashed by the weather. Frank was able to gather some photos of East Canyon and a few other local views for us to work from indoors instead. We made one plein air attempt on the last day…too cold and windy at Tanner Park!
Frank was very patient and supportive, as a good teacher should be. His workshop will be remembered as one of the “good ones!” Thanks to Ann Galt for finding him!
