Tyler Swain is a is a minimalist. He often paints simple backgrounds with beautiful bee and birds. We will be painting bees at the workshop. Tyler paints in watercolor, acrylics and oil.

Description
Come paint with and learn from Tyler Swain. He is a very successful artist who has worked in several different galleries including Peterson Contemporary, Giacobbe-Fritz Fine Art, and Piper J Gallery. His minimalist approach to the same subject in multiple mediums gives him the experience to help you push past some barriers that you may have.
In this workshop, we will be painting with watercolors and acrylics. The same subject will be painted using the two different mediums with instruction from Tyler. Towards the end of the day, students will come together and discuss their experiences. We will compare our own two paintings. Questions like, how are the mediums the same or different. How can we change our approach and can we tweak that approach to get better. How did one medium push our skills and help us grow as an artist?
This workshop will be fun but also informative for you and your art.
