Well, here we are at the end of a creative year and hopefully looking forward to many more creative juices flowing in the new. We have had some great presenters at our monthly member meetings, and I hope that if you haven’t been able to attend, you will put that on your “to do” list for 2020, to catch the lineup for January through May.
Thanks to our hardworking Board members, we have been able to provide really quality Mini Workshop instructors and monthly presenters and I hope you will take advantage of them. The Nationally ranked artist, David R. Smith, will conduct a five day workshop in May. He is a fantastic watercolorist; a must attend workshop!
I’m anti New Year’s Resolutions, because it bums me out when I never keep them! I do, however, plan on making some Art Resolutions for the New Year. I resolve to buy better paper, another good brush, and get out as much as I can to paint Plein Air. I also resolve to try a few new techniques and paint out of my comfort zone, so I can challenge myself. This may improve my paintings, or not, but change is movement in some direction.
Have a wonderful New Year and I hope to see you at our Monthly Member Meetings and maybe at a Workshop or two.
Only YOU can be better than YOU!
Linda
