Here’s the location for the UWS paintout a week from Saturday, on May 14, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We’ll meet at what Little Cottonwood Canyon employees and residents call the Forest Service Parking Lot, also known as “Temple Quarry Nature Trail” which is down the other side of the Hwy 210/LCC road from the main parking lot everybody knows. It’s actually closer to the creek bed than the main lot, which is where we will want to paint. This lot can be accessed from either Hwy. 210 (Wasatch Blvd.) or Hwy. 209 (which comes up from 9400 South, through the Granite area).
As with all our plein air paint out get-togethers, this is a rain or shine event.
Remember to bring the paintings you create, whether finished or not, to our closing social on June 7 at the Sons of the Utah Pioneers.
