The Bountiful Davis Art Center would like to invite any willing members of the Utah Watercolor Society to participate in our 9th Annual Plein Air Competition:

ABOUT
Each year BDAC asks Utah artists to step outside and create artwork in the plein air tradition. This year’s theme, Golden Hour, asks artists to capture the evocative time that lives in between day’s end and night’s beginning. This prompt isn’t just about the typical artifice of sunset, but what nature gives us in its most fleeting moments amidst a chaotic and ever-changing world. Artists are invited to submit work in any medium (painting, sculpture, installation, fiber) as long as the piece meets the requirements listed in the slides below. A Guest Juror (TBA) will select three works to receive cash awards which will be announced at the opening reception.
